Introduction

Though it is very seldom when someone moves or shift to a new house but still due to some reason people do this shift. For some of them, it is an amazing experience while few people get upset by leaving their birthplace. However, I am a former one. I am more of a guy who embraces changes. Here I would like to speak out about a time when I moved to a beautiful-cum haunted house.

When you moved?

As I vividly remember it was 5 years ago, I had just completed my <name of study>. It was the hot days of scorching summer.

Why you moved?

Being a son of a police officer, It is a common thing for us to move and shift to new places so often. My father was posted in Uttrakhand for a few months during the period of the election there. Therefore I and my mother shifted along with my father to that new house due to my mother’s illness. As my father could not leave us alone in such a condition.

Where you moved?

As I mentioned earlier, My father was posted at Rishikesh Police Station Uttrakhand. The place where we rented a house for a few months was located in the outskirts of Rishikesh surrounded by mountains and dense forest.

How you felt about it?

God knows how I survived living in that house. As this house was in the proximity of a graveyard and the creepy howls and sounds of wild animals were very terrifying. Moreover, in Rishikesh, an urban legend of a scary unknown creature was the most discussed topic in those days. these all things were sufficient to disturb a normal man mentally. Even the smallest movement in that house at night used to spook me out. Not only me but my mother and father too encountered some paranormal activities in that house. Even we called a Pandit Ji to perform some rituals in order to get rid of those things. Somehow or the other we made it up to living in that house and returned back to our sweet home. So this was my all experience of living in a new house.
