Introduction

As I am a gregarious person, I tend to arrange so many events for social gatherings and all. Even I like to throw some parties on special occasions. Moreover, when I was in college and school I used to come forward for decoration and other arrangements for fresher and farewell parties.

What the event was

Here I would like to talk about a time when I organized my parent’s wedding anniversary. As I vividly remember it was a few months ago when I and my sister planned that we would throw a surprise Anniversary party for our parents to make their day memorable.

How you prepared for it

Well If I talk about all that preparation that we did was fantastic. As it was the first time when my parent’s anniversary was going to be celebrated. Therefore we wanted to keep it secret and tried our best to organize this event. Even I and my sister used our whole savings for celebrating their aniversary. Since it was a surprise so we decided our farmhouse as our venue for the party. We decorated our farmhouse with balloons and colorful ribbons and spread rose flower petals over the carpet from the gate to the main park where we placed some chairs and dining tables. We prepared some soft drinks and borrowed a music system from one of my friends to make that night party more kind of romantic.

Who helped you to organize it

I am really thankful to my sister to who helped me alot to organize that party by undertaking our budget. She was the one who was handling the cooking and drinks for guests. Even she helped me to decide best present for our parents on their special day. She gave me her room’s lamps and rice lights to give party a effective vibe.

Why you think it was successful event

On the day of anniversary we invited some of our friends and few relatives at our farmhouse. We took our parents to our farmhouse without letting them any idea or purpose of taking them to farmhouse. As we entered all the lights and music were turned on and every guest was shouting their names with wishes. My parents were over the moon at that time. Everyone was really happy because food and drinks were very tasty. My parents gave remarkable speeches for each other and thereafter we cut the anniversary cake and at the end our parents called us and hug us tightly with tears in their eyes. So that is why i feel that it was a successful event which makes our parents proud of us.
